About

Baile de los Muertos takes its cue from the celebration of Dia de los Muertos and allows us to celebrate in the ancient and joyful ritual of a dance party. Take the opportunity to view the altars and installations from our week long celebration while enjoying the energy of the drum beats. Gather, dance, and celebrate to remember friends & family who have passed before us… Celebrate life in the present, only to join our transitioned loved ones in the afterlife… which we hope to see them dancing.

Next level rhythms by the SUBSUELO crew with special guests: El Conjunto Nueva Ola, Julio y su Teclado Mágico, and Irene Diaz.

Subsuelo is a global bass crew from Los Angeles that experiments with futuristic dance parties and old-school tropical music. Named “Best Eastside Club Night” by LA Weekly, Subsuelo started as a house party in Boyle Heights back in 2011 and evolved into a weekly gathering where friends get down to cumbia, hip-hop, salsa, house, reggaeton, dancehall, baile funk, kuduro and all kinds of new weird global bass variations.
